Davis Mathew Kuriakose is an experienced Data Engineering Leader with a strong background in architecting and building solutions for the SatCom and Cloud Services industry. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has executed full life-cycle product development and maintenance projects, specializing in people and program management while owning the lifecycle of product development. Davis has hands-on experience in programming, QA, DevOps, and data engineering. He has designed and executed products from ideation through scale deployment and maintenance, including UI/UX design, tracking end-user behavior, and establishing best practices. He has also planned and executed annual budgets for resourcing and tooling. As a Data Engineer, Davis has specialized in architecting and hands-on experience with AWS data stack (EMR, Glue, Redshift), ELK, and Hadoop. He has programming experience in Python, Java, and Javascript. Currently, he is working as a Lead Project Engineer at Global Eagle, where he has built data pipelines to Redshift and AWS Data Lake, ensuring best practices are followed. He has designed data pipelines for varied data sources and developed and maintained a network performance monitoring platform, as well as an NMS system for in-house data path product. Prior to his current role, Davis has worked as a BI/Data Engineer at Global Eagle, where he managed to build data pipelines for IPFIX data, data path feedback, and near real-time operational data transfer between network systems. He has also developed a network analytics solution for iDirect NMS (ver 3.0), which was deployed in on-prem and cloud infrastructure. He has also worked as a Data Engineer at Intuit, where he worked on ETL, data engineering, and maintenance on production databases like MySQL on AWS (RDS), Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redshift. Davis holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Mahatma Gandhi University. He has a strong tech stack, including Data Engineering, AWS, Python, Ansible, Apache Airflow, Amazon Athena, Elastic Search, QA, Javascript, Hadoop, DevOps, UI, Java, infra, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Spring, and ETL.
